Ron Tepper shared with us some of his vast experience on music industry. Ron spoke of Competent Communication manual Project #7, Research Your Topic. This project encouraged Ron to go beyond his own knowledge and opinions.
ACB/CL Bill Bau, who evaluated Ron’s speech, highlighted the good choice of an easily relatable topic, the way Ron transformed what could have been a complex subject in a pleasant story, the research done to prepare the speech and the examples given in it. Gestures and vocal inflection are two areas that need some work for future speeches.
